The SD7’s and 9’s were used some times with the gallery cars. the bilevel cars from 1955 to about 1961 were not push-pull. They required that the locomotives change ends, just like on the old suburban cars. And there were no cab cars. Those old bilevels had to be extensively rebuilt to enter the push-pull era.
