We e not a SYSPLEX shop, currently, we have 3 or 4 MVS system images, 2 processors running PRSM, with shared DASD… do we gain anything by going SYSPLEX or parallel SYSPLEX?

The Optimizer will run whether or not you’re running SYSPLEX. One thing you will want to consider is that the change to SYSPLEX might affect the licensing and pricing of the Optimizer.
