Films that included the Swastika or certain other Nazi symbols are in contravention of Strafgesetzbuch §86a which bans symbols of unconstitutional organisations.

The Germans did not make many films about such as the Holocaust, but they did make excellent TV WW2 series perhaps the two most well known are “Das Boot” (The Boat) and “Downfall” – the final days of Adolf Hitler in the Berlin Bunker.
