We’re interested in the Medicaid Administrative Claiming (MAC) program. Does TASB offer this service?
TASB’s current Medicaid efforts are focused on the SHARS program. However, we have been monitoring the MAC program since 1994 and can provide you with accurate, up-to-date information and contacts at the state level. It is important to note that MAC and SHARS are separate programs. There is not a software product that facilitates claims under both programs. TASB SMART districts continue to bill SHARS through our program while actively pursuing MAC reimbursements through vendors specializing in that area.
