When hiring HNTB to analyze the problem and recommend a solution, we asked them to start new and bring forward a fresh idea with a focus on new ways to address the top two problems with downtown as identified by respondents to a recent DAA survey: parking shortage and congestion. Since releasing the plan, we have asked both Capital Metro and DAA to help us shape the concept in a direction that makes it most beneficial to downtown.
