Were can disc jockeys find groupies?
Allow me to give you a rule of thumb that we Radio Personalities live by. “Never go out with somebody that you meet over the phone at the radio station.” Voices can be very deceiving! A caller may have a voice like velvet, but they usually end up looking like they lost a battle with an ugly stick. I’m not saying this is always the case, but for some reason it is usually true. If you are still looking for a groupie…. go out and rent “Play Misty for Me” This film should be required viewing for anybody thinking of working in radio. I have heard some stories about psycho groupies that would make you crap in your pants! Your best bet…… If you have free time during your air-shift….. Do some “show-prep” Stay away from the groupies.
