Models from several jurisdictions were researched, including the UK (Health Protection Agency), USA (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), Public Health Agency of Canada, British Columbia Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) and Quebec’s Institut national de sant publique du Qubec (INSPQ). The model that the Ontario Agency for Health Protection and Promotion is most similar to is the Quebec INSPQ.
