Were Ancient Persians & Egyptians black?
The Persians are Caucasians, who came out of northern India in about the fourth millenium BC. I’m not sure if the Persians brought any black troops with them. If so, they would have had a very minor role; as the Persians relied most on their cavalry and archers. I don’t know how many would them would have survived the culture shock either, moving from the African jungle to central Asia.
