Were Ancient Greeks dark skinned and dark haired like today, or blonde, as portrayed in Greek myths?
The ancient Greeks were never blonde, you should look at some of the paintings not how they were described in MYTHS. Greeks always had a Mediterranean/Balkanian look to them. Also in some places in Greece like the mainland, people tend to be fair due to the regions’ more mountainous climate, Greeks from the southern islands are more olive complected.
