Dear (With holding her name), You have asked me where I stand on the issues that the residents of St.George and Ethier St. are having problems with. As, I am sure you were aware Monday nights Council meeting this was on the agenda and a staff report basically saying that the Township should wash their hands of this issue now that the site plans were being followed. I could not stay to hear what was voted on. However, my thinking is the problem is “teen smoking”. Do you know of a high school called La Citadel in Cornwall? They have a rule that there is to be “No Smoking Products” in the school. As a Co-Chair of a School Council, I am impressed to see a school that is dealing with a very real problem and is taking action and being responsible for their students when they are on school property and under the schools care, no small effort I am sure. Personally, I would like for the Province to get more serious about minors (under 19) possessing smoking products, and go harder in that direc
