Weekly Poll: Should Atheists Deliver City Council Invocations?
Sometimes atheists who challenge the delivery of invocations and prayers before public events (like city council meetings) ask to deliver their own message. If refused, that proves that there is religious bias. Is it, however, appropriate for atheists to do such a thing? Aren’t invocations religious?
