Websites for comparing car insurance rates for a teenager?
We are shopping for a used car for my teen daughter this weekend. Two years ago we bought a new Toyota for my stepdaughter’s HS graduation, the payment was $320/mo, but when the insurance came in, the insurance was $472/mo, much higher than the car payment!!!! We want to make sure this does not happen again. I do NOT want to put in a bunch of personal information (zip code and age of driver should be more than sufficient), I just want a generalized quote to compare different cars so we can rule out certain makes/models if we need to. Anyone know of a site that can let us do this? (We are in Texas if that helps) I do not need a true quote. We have had State Farm for decades and will never switch. I just need an estimation on what cars will be highest, lowest, etc. so we can rule out certain makes/models (ie, if the insurance on a Land Rover Discovery is going to be around $450 a month, but a Nissan Pathfinder is going to be around $300 a month, we will totally nix the Discovery off of t
