WebFile is telling me that I must file a paper return because I entered incorrect information. Can my account be reset so that I can use WebFile, or do I have to file a paper return?

Yes. You will need to contact the Division’s Customer Service Center at 609-292-6400 as you will need to provide your Name and Social Security Number along with a brief explanation of the information that you entered incorrectly. Your account will be reset within three to five business days. Your account cannot be reset if you already received a confirmation number. In that case you will need to file an amended return, Form NJ-1040-X.
