Wear and Tear is probably the greatest of the weasel words. Most warranties exclude breakdown due to wear & tear leaving the door wide open to decline any repair where a part has suffered a failure due to it being worn. Even those warranties that include it usually only allow full repairs when your car is relatively new (when the cover is not needed) and then build in a sliding scale percentage contribution, which costs you more as your mileage increases, which all means ‘You Pay’. Our warranty includes protection against failure due to wear and tear, but we allow you to de-select it if you think it’s inappropriate.
