On your backup target, rename the delta and the full you want to restore to append “-0001.phd” to the end of the file, re-index the backup target from the ESX3 host, and restore the delta. For example: file.vmdk.022407 becomes file.vmdk.022407-0001.phd Once you add the -0001.phd to the Delta and Full, the v2 backups will show up in the PHD restore menu, but they will be listed under the Hostname like it was a VM name.
