We would like the N2O Program Locking feature to be enabled in target databases and certain remote databases. What is involved in doing this?
N2OEDIT should be installed in the FNAT for every database that is to have restricted editing enforced by N2O. N2OEDIT can only be used to control databases that are local to the N2O files. Editing on remote databases cannot be restricted by N2OEDIT because there is no way for N2O to communicate “up to the minute” information about program locking to these unconnected databases.
