We use MS Internet Explorer™ to access CoursEval™ and sometimes we can get to it. What is wrong?
The problem is likely related to the settings in Internet Explorer. Mozilla FireFox is the preferred browser for CoursEval™ . If the privacy settings on the browser is set to not accept cookies, students will be unable to use CoursEval until cookies are allowed. To allow cookies in Internet Explorer (this problem doesn’t occur in Mozilla FireFox), do the following: • Go to Tools and select Internet Options. • Click on the Privacy Tab. • Move the slider to Medium. • Click “Apply” then ‘OK’. • If need be, contact the lab administrator to allow the CoursEval URL. This should allow the user to access CoursEval™. This problem is generally only an issue for people using Internet Explorer who are hosted or piloting. The CoursEval™ Team prefers the use of Mozilla FireFox.
