We recently caught some minnows/guppies (feeder size) from the same environ (downstream of lake – amphibians and crayfish were upstream), would the salamanders ever be able to catch one of these?

Also, I caught two grubs (ginormous, condensed to an inch long fat grub and extended to over 2 inches of sprawling larvae mass) and thought they’d make good food for the carnivores. But then, I was experimenting, and fed them all (within first couple days captivity) a bite of raw ground turkey. I placed a tiny morsel at their hiding spot entrances and they devoured it. How much should I feed them for a daily (or every other day) dose?
