You need to get cordless phone system that allows multiple phone add-ons. With the cordless phone base unit plugged into the VoIP ATA adapter in your room, then you can pickup your calls in other rooms of the house using the extension add-on cordless phones. I use this setup in my home. I have my ATA box upstairs in my office and Panasonic 5.8 Ghz base station plugged into it. Then I have a cordless extension phone downstairs in kitchen – works great. Otherwise, you need a wireless router and a wireless bridge adapter for your ATA VoIP box to plug into in another room of house.
