We note you use quite an early Motor Sailer for series acquisition, surely you should use a more modern craft?

The acquisition craft had to be an average size, a combination of sail and power, obviously a good sea boat, economical and suitable for single handed management. With regard to video acquisition – Dry accommodation throughout, sufficient headroom for shoulder mount camera work and suitable fast access across wheel-house and side doorways. Space and design tight enough to shoot reasonably well in foul weather. Obviously all this was quite a tall order. However ‘Little Mallard’, Fisher Northeaster has been ideal. So far there has not been another craft more suitable for the job.
