We live in Northwest Portland…or the East side…or Beaverton and think it will take too long to get to PJA. How long will it take me to drive to PJA?
That is an excellent question! Many people in the Portland area think it will take upwards of 30 minutes to come from the east side to PJA. But since we’re just over the Marquam (or Ross Island) bridge and the first exit up the hill, the time is really closer to 20 or 25 minutes from the Mt. Tabor area or even just 10 minutes from the Pearl district or 15 minutes from Beaverton. These are fairly average rides for many of our students and families. If you are coming from an area that you consider to be far from school, let us know. We are great at arranging carpools for our families and encourage our families to share rides whenever possible. It’s good for the PJA community and great for our environment.
