We live five miles from an airport and fairly near the flight path. I like to grow our own vegetables and fruit and wonder if there is anything I can do to protect them from aviation fuel fallout?
I think it is important not to become obsessive about pollution. I’m sure that the vegetables and fruits that you grow are enormously healthy despite living near an airport and the flight path. If you have any doubts I suggest that you wash them before eating them, by plunging them into a large basin of water to which you have added a tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide.
