As far as Asia goes, they aren’t allowed to have a west. From a Eurasian perspective the far west is England, France, Italy, Germany, and all the other developed European countries. The middle west is European Russia, the Balkan countries, Ukraine, the Caucus mountain region and perhaps Turkey.
