Your legal wedding date in the day in which you actually stated you vows before a minister, for the first time with your marriage license in hand, and that minister signed off on it. Now, if no one is aware of that date and think that the day in which you had your wedding is your wedding date, you could have a private celebration of your private wedding date, and celebrate your public day with your family and friends.
