MIAFTR2 relies on Insurers having WEB access to Search claims, view transaction reports and receive pending claim information. If your company does not have access to this technology in the departmental areas there are some options. 1 – You company may permit one or two team leaders, managers or designated users WEB access and the role of searching claims etc could be allocated to these people. This will require a desktop PC’s or other desktop computers capable of displaying WEB Browsers 2 – Your IT department may be able to provide restricted WEB access just to the miaftr site to ensure personnel do not have access to other WEB areas, i.e . the internet at large.
