XcelaSAN provides several levels of protection for vital customer data: A. XcelaSAN mirroring offers fully redundant data protection for high-availability installations when installed in pairs. B. XcelaSAN is configured with the same high-quality DRAM modules that are found in mission critical servers with ECC memory error correction and chipkill technology. C. XcelaSAN power supplies and internal backup disks are redundant and hot-swappable. D. XcelaSAN write-through mode ensures that all data on an assigned LUN is written to the attached disk-array’s write cache prior to notifying the server that the write is complete. This mode assures both high performance and data protection for mission critical data. E. XcelaSAN will de-stage data to internal RAID disk in the event of a power failure. F. XcelaSAN is configured with UPS systems to support mission-critical application requirements.
