We are travelling to America in January. When do American Children have school holidays ?
Many children will go back to school on January 2nd but some may not go back until Monday, January 7th – especially college students may have a longer break. Most families will travel home on January 5th or 6th so your travel dates are really perfect. Martin Luther King Jr. Day is January 21st this year so that won’t affect your holiday at all. The SpectroMagic parade at Magic Kingdom is only offered on January 7, 10, 12, & 14 during your visit. Splash Mountain & Minnie’s Country House will be closed for refurbishment while you’re there. Tony’s Town Square Restaurant will also be closed.
