We already have the Investors In People (IIP) award – what is the difference?
The CPD Mark has been designed exclusively for the educational sector, the IIP award does not focus on teaching standards or on pupils as beneficiaries. The CPD Mark is specific to leadership; it focuses on roles, responsibility and accountability. It covers standards for teachers and assessment measures. The CPD Mark identifies pupils as the beneficiaries of the process – in terms of raising achievement.
