We already have a district student database system. How can I justify Tadds?
A> Tadds is not intended to replace your district’s student database system. It is a separate system with different objectives and users. It supplements the district system by providing additional reports and controls in the Counseling, Athletic Director and Student Program Administrator realms. Usually the various Tadds reports themselves are enough to justify Tadds, and you can choose to use some areas of Tadds (such as Work Permit Generation/Tracking) and not other areas (such as Contracts generation/tracking or Athletic Team eligibility checking). The flow of information between the two systems is normally minimal in nature and one-way: from the district system, and to Tadds.
