Waycroft is a successful school. Why change it?
A. Due to our new Government the educational landscape is changing very quickly. Standing still is not an option. Waycroft can convert to an Academy before most schools because it has ‘Outstanding’ status. This allows us to pick the best services and research financial revenues before the majority of primary schools begin the process. It seems highly likely that all schools will be following the Academy route in the near future as the Local Authority services diminish. We want to be in charge of our own destiny to secure the best possible opportunities for our children. Questions from staff at Waycroft Primary School.
