WATER RESOURCES Is the tap water safe to drink?
Public water systems are required to monitor for bacteria and a variety of chemicals at regular intervals. The specific monitoring requirements are based on the type of water system (Community, Non-Transient Non-Community, or Non-Community) and its size. These requirements can be found in Florida Administrative Code 62-550. The results of these analyses are public information.
