Fluoridation took place in Fresno County Waterworks Districts which were special districts located in County islands in the Fresno City sphere of influence. The City of Fresno continued to fluoride system in these areas when the Waterworks Districts merged with the City on January 1, 1989. Call (559) 621-5300 for more information.
