Was will smith right when he said “parents just don understand”?
To a point yes and to a point no. My parents seem to not understand some of the things I choose to do as an adult. Point, they don’t understand, because today’s times are much different then back when they were younger. How so? Today it is worse then it was back in the 1960’s. However, they do understand, because 9 out of 10 they have been down that road before (in the 1960’s) or they know of someone who has been down that road. Point, parents just act like they don’t understand JUST TO SEE how much our children really understand. Over all point it is “US” the young ones who just don’t understand, until later on in life when we are able to look back and say, “Oh, I get it now.” Then we all laugh about it then.
