Was there any impact pf Englands glorious revolution on the French revolution ?
Both the Glorious revolution of England and the American war of independence deeply influenced the French revolution. The constitutional monarchy and sovereignty of the people established in England in 1688 inspired the people of France. The writing of Thomas paine and others were a constant source of inspiration. Many French participated in the American war of independence they had the experience how the democratic ideals have the power to replace monarchy. In short, the beginning of democracy in America hastened the end of despotic monarchy in France.
