Lev. 23:36, 39.______________________ COMMENT: The last annual Sabbath or Holy Day is observed immediately after the Feast of Tabernacles. But because of its close proximity to this seven-day Feast, it was associated with the Feast of Tabernacles and was called the “eighth day.” It came to be known among Christians as “the last day, that great day of the feast” (John 7:37). The Last Great Day is clearly a separate festival and Holy Day. The Last Great Day pictures the completion of God’s Master Plan. That, as we learned in Lesson 21, is the Great White Throne Judgment period after the Millennium.
