MANSELL: I think, in our minds, we weren’t going to work with them because we didn’t think, REQUIEM worked so well, we just felt we weren’t going to top that. We thought maybe if we were lucky enough to make another two or three more pictures then we would go back to them but as the score developed and as it became more intimate and as I listened to bands like Mogwai, Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Sigur Ros it was sort of cinematic and orchestral but on a neo-classical level; it was a more modern approach to orchestrated music.
