Was there a story from KDKA News out of Pittsburgh about missing Penn State student Joseph Dado today?
STATE COLLEGE (KDKA/AP) ― A freshman at Penn State University who was reported missing was found dead early Monday evening. Joseph Dado, 18, was last seen at about 3 a.m. Sunday leaving Phi Gamma Delta. The Collegian, the university’s student newspaper, reports that maintenance workers found Dado in a stairwell on campus at about 6 p.m. Monday. He apparently fell 15 feet. His friends became concerned when he didn’t return to his dorm room and didn’t answer their phone calls or e-mails. Dado was majoring in engineering. He recently graduated from Greater Latrobe Senior High School. “Joe’s a wonderful young man – he was an absolute pleasure to have in the building,” Assistant Principal Steven LoCascio said. “He was a very good student, as evidenced by the fact that he was going to a fine institution like Penn State. He was a nice athlete as well – very well-liked by peers and students.” Dado’s parents were on campus Monday passing out fliers and searching for him. Stay with KDKA for late
