Was there a roman historian called horace that mentioned jesus?
No. No contemporary historian took note of any Jesus that was executed by the Romans, including the Romans that were said to have executed him. Josephus’ account is a well documented forgery – note the dates of his birth and death. Even if his date of birth is estimated he would have been a toddler when Jesus was executed. Not a contemporary. The mention of Jesus in his writings wasn’t there in 100 C.E. but was when a Pope went looking in 200 C.E. Obvious forgery. (37-100 AD/CE) Flavius Josephus Others sometimes listed as having mentioned Jesus – that’s an error. None were contemporaries and they didn’t mention any Jesus, just comments about Christians and most comments weren’t compliments.
