Was there a big boost in overall mileage after Club Cross Country?
BG: Not really. We put in a ton early in the fall, just to kind of build up. It’s tough in the winter because a lot of people go home for Christmas and it kind of breaks up and we get back around the New Year and you have two and a half weeks until the (USA Half-Marathon) race. Sometimes in your head, it feels like you’re not prepared, but we got back and we settled right back into the routine and put in some really solid work heading into the half-marathon. I think everybody knew they were capable of something pretty big. If Andrew Carlson went home for Christmas, he must really notice the difference between there and Flagstaff (Carlson is from North Dakota and most recently had lived in Minnesota). BG: Yeah.
