Was the woman who was robbed in the mall in Orlando attacked at a Dooney and Bourke store?
Two women were attacked and robbed inside a mall bathroom during a recent shopping trip. Orange County investigators said they think it could be the same armed robber who is targeting women at the Premium Outlets. The victims said the method of attack is always the same: A woman goes into use the bathroom at the Premium Outlets and when she comes out of the stall, is greeted by a man with a gun willing to violently steal her purse. Fellow shoppers are shocked by two bold attacks on women inside the bathroom at the busy Premium Outlet Mall. A woman said she went in to use the bathroom in between the Bose and Dooney and Bourke stores, and when she came out of the stall, the victim told investigators a man held a gun to her nose, kicked her in the stomach then stole her purse. ORLANDO, Fla. — Authorities in Orange County are searching for a man who pointed a gun in a woman’s face as she exited an outlet mall bathroom and kicked her in the stomach before robbing her. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, the 44-year-old woman was leaving a bathroom stall, located near suite No. 150 of the Premium Outlet Mall at 8200 Vineland Ave. in Orlando, at about 10:15 a.m. Friday when she was confronted by a gunman. The man pointed a gun at the woman’s nose, kicked her in the stomach and stole her purse before running away, deputies said. Deputies said the man may have been involved in a robbery at the same location two days prior.
