Was the Sutcliffe! sketch cut from the original broadcast?
Channel 4 prepared two versions of the episode that contained the sketch, one with ‘Sutcliffe!’ and one without it. They originally planned to let the sketch go out intact, but were forced to show the cut version under the weight of tabloid outrage. However, the sketch did escape on bootleg, and was also shown almost in its entirety on an edition of “Right To Reply”.
