I don’t know that much about this, but I just read a biography online about Hitler. From what I understand, the Nazi party considered themselves Socialists, but with a twist. They only wanted the socialist philosophies, rights and equality to apply to people of German decent, that’s why they initially called themselves the National socialist party, in an effort to specify that it was for Germans only.
