Was the korean war mainly caused by ideological differences?
Yes, in fact the Korean War was not caused because “the North wouldn’t sit back.” That is just an overly simplistic answer from an overly simplistic person who finds wasting his time and yours enjoyable. The ideological differences were apparent: socialism and eventually State Capitalism on one side, and an anti-socialist dictatorship eventually becoming corporate capitalism on the other side. As for freedom and democracy and worker’s control of the means of production – they never happened.
