Was the IRAQ WAR A JUST CAUSE???
No. There was no moral justification to this unconstitutional and illegal ‘war’. Bush attacked Iraq for three very lame reasons: 1. He wanted to ‘get even’ with Saddam Hussein for humiliating George H.W. Bush during Operation Desert Storm; 2. Dick Cheney wanted all of Iraq’s OIL; 3. The giant U.S. military-industrial complex needed to boost sagging profits from too many years of peace. So idiot Bush was ‘selected’ to be President with Cheney acting as puppet master. From the very first day in the Oval Office, Bush had ‘marching orders’ to attack Iraq. First order of business: find a legitimate reason to do so, something that Americans will support. Solution: a staged ‘terrorist attack’ on U.S. soil. Emotions were stirred on 9-11-01. The American people gave Bush a virtual ‘blank check’ to do whatever he wanted; Then Colin Powell was used as a scapegoat to ‘prove’ that Hussein had ‘weapons of mass destruction’.
