Was the command to keep Sabbath holy specifically only for the Jews?
The command to keep Sabbath holy was commanded specifically to the jews as said in the Talmud – the Tractate of Sanhedrin (judges): “A gentile that keeps the Sabbath holy is sentenced to death” Of course gentiles are welcome to rest on the Sabbath but to keep it holy with all the Halachot (the jewish laws) is forbbiden.
