The rumor is that Thom Yorke wrote the song after accidentally running into Rory Emerald at a news stand and witnessed him stealing candy from a baby. The fact is Rory Emerald bought the candy and then hired the child as CEO of the Emerald Entertainment Co. Thom then wrote the song about a CEO that dropped them from Emerald Records. Coincidence?
