A. T. rex was probably BOTH a scavenger and a hunter. Like lions today, hunting dinosaurs probably missed their prey most of the time. Where there were plenty of plant-eaters around, some dead, others sick or dying, it was easier for T. rex to be a scavenger than try to eat by hunting. Q. Were any dinosaur bones found in Italy? A.
