First of all to compare a slightly torn rotator cuff that Forrest said won’t require surgery, to a torn MCL and ACL is ridiculous. Shogun injured himself 6 weeks before the fight, and because of that he was rusty, had no cardio because he couldn’t run, and couldn’t utilize his knees or kicks. That’s no excuse, he should’ve pulled out of the fight, but clearly he underestimated Forrest. If Shogun at 100% fought Forrest it would be a massacre. Props to Forrest because he’s getting a title shot out of this, but after Rampage KO’s him I hope Shogun gets another crack at him.
