Despite the amount of sweaty clothes and mucky boots strewn about the place, it was surprisingly clean and must be well looked after to keep it that way. It certainly had none of the dinginess associated with so many urban hostels, though the bunkroom had a vaguely unpleasant smell of wet backpacker.
