Was Robert Pattinson involved in a hit-and-run car accident?
A report has surfaced that Twilight hunk Robert Pattinson was involved in a hit-and-run accident as he was being chased by the paparazzi. The interesting bit is that Robert claims he does not recall bumping into anyone as he drove away. His rep said that, “Robert was pulling out of a parking space after a quiet day in Malibu and was relentlessly pursued by paparazzi. He has no knowledge of having bumped or damaged another car in the process. The story has been manufactured for headlines.” But, OK! magazine claims that eyewitnesses saw Rob hit a parked Kia after leaving a friend’s house at around 9:00 p.m. in Malibu. The magazine caught up with the Kia owner, Rob Gottschlich, who was not very concerned about the misshap. “If I had a nice car like a Lexus or something, maybe [I would be concerned], but I’ve got an old Kia,” He told OK! “I am going to ask Rob next time I see him for free tickets to the next Twilight film,” Rob G. added.
